Plastic storage boxes and their varieties are really one of the cheapest storage methods around. You are not sacrificing for quality either as plastic is quite sturdy and most products are made from recycled plastic. So it is a great way to do you bit for the earth.
Plastic Storage Boxes
You can buy a large plastic storage box with wheels for less than $10! That means you could buy one for each bedroom for under $30 just to keep uncommonly used objects in.
Plastic Storage Bins
Plastic storage bins are fantastic for keeping your garage or workplace in order. Prices for hanging bins range from $1.00 to $7.00 depending on the size of the bin. Plastic stackable storage bins range in price from $5.00 to $60.00 again depending on size. You can also buy completed racks in the $1000+ plus range that have multiple sized bins. These will save you at least a couple hundred dollars though so it is well worth it for large amounts of storage. For the home workshop, small bench top racks with 18-34 bins can be purchased for around $90 so again great value for buying in bulk. You may also want to consider large plastic storage bins.
Plastic Storage Drawers
Decent sized plastic storage drawers can be bought individually or in packs. Packs cost $30.00 to $50.00. Larger sized drawers come in packs of 3 or 4 and smaller packs come in packs of 6. If you want something more mobile, 3 drawer rolling chests can be bought for $80.00+.
Plastic Storage Containers
1 gallon storage containers and pitchers for food can be purchased online for under $5.00. These are great for storing chopped veggies, leftovers and cool aid. You shouldn’t need to ever pay over $20.00, even for large containers.
