Liberty gun safes have only been around since 1988, when the company when they started up their business in Payson, Utah. It has barely taken them 20 years to reach a coveted title in the security market – America’s best selling gun safe.

That said, the standard’s that Liberty holds on even their cheapest products blow away most mainstream expectations. Every one of their gun safes, from the Centurion all the way up to the Presidential are rated with incredible fire protection – anywhere from one hour to 2.5 hours in extreme 1200 degree temperatures.
Of, course fire isn’t the only enemy of the valuables locked away in your gun safe. I’m referring to, of course, a more human opponent – burglars. While there is no such thing as a 100% fire and theft proof safe, Liberty’s products come exceptionally close. It’s honestly like having your own personal bank vault at home. Liberty puts everyone of their products through incredibly thorough tests, all done by the ever-reputable UL (Underwriters Labs). They actual hire professional safe crackers to try to get into the safes, and if the faux crooks can’t make it happen in the allotted time, the safe passes the test. Guess what? All Liberty safes pass the test.
Again, Liberty gun safes aren’t cheap – they’re most expensive models after accessories flirt with the likes of $6000 – but if you’re valuables are important to you, and you want the peace of mind that no matter what happens while you’re away from your house, your guns, jewels, photos, and documents will be in good hands, I think the cost is worth it.
